Morning

Begin your weekday visit to Victoria with breakfast at Huvar's Artisan Market in Downtown Victoria. You'll find healthy offerings on the menu as well as classic items like an omelette made with fresh ingredients. If you're in town on the weekend, Ramsey's Restaurant is a great option!

After breakfast head to Riverside Park for a morning of kayaking on the Guadalupe River. Flow Paddle Co. is the outfitter located beside the Memorial Rose Garden in the park. They can set you up with kayaks and assist with load in and load out!

Afternoon

After a morning of fun on the water, kick back with a relaxing lunch on the patio of the PumpHouse Riverside Restaurant & Bar. They're conveniently located on the Guadalupe River in Riverside Park at the boat load-out spot.

Spend the afternoon exploring Riverside Park. This 600+ acre woodland park features walking and biking trails, Memorial Rose Garden, Riverside Golf Course, two disc golf courses, and more. The Athey Nature Sanctuary and trail are abundant with birds and wildlife. Stop by the Athey Nature Sanctuary Birding Deck, check out the interpretive displays and maps, then walk the trail and see what treasures you can find.

Evening

For dinner, check out one of the joints on the Great Coastal Texas Barbecue Trail. There are currently five establishments located in and just outside of Victoria. If you're in town on a Thursday night, drive out to KB's BBQ and enjoy live music and great barbecue! Try one of the unique dishes like smoked meatloaf or stuffed avocado. Moonshine Drinkery in historic Downtown Victoria is a great spot to hang out and have a drink or two. On the right night, you may even catch some live local music. Be sure to ask about their specialty "moonshine" concoctions!
