Founded in 1977, Theatre Victoria has grown from a handful of participants, who stored their properties, sets and costumes in borrowed garages and performed only a few times a year, to a core of 150 active volunteers producing up to 10 productions annually. Theatre Victoria is the resident company at the Leo J. Welder Center for the Performing Arts. We also have performed at The Ethel Lee Tracy Park Amphitheatre and at the Victoria Fine Arts Center.
Theatre Victoria is registered as Victoria Community Theatre Inc., a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit tax-exempt organization. Theatre Victoria is governed by a Board of Governors elected by the membership at an annual meeting.
