Saturday, March 13 & Friday, March 19 - Life in the Sea: Learn about ocean ecology, collect samples, and record your observations!
Tuesday, March 16 - Backyard Dig: Learn how to construct grids, process artifacts, and record finds!
Wednesday, March 17- Watch It Grow: Learn about agriculture and gardening while you watch plants grow from seeds.
Thursday, March 18 - Find Your Way: Learn about orienteering and cartography using compasses and creating your own maps!
In-person visitors can participate in free hands-on activities guided by the museum's trained docents and educator. Or, purchase a "history on-the-go" kit to complete at home or on your Spring Break travels. History on-the-go kits are available in the same themes as in-person activities, include supplies as well as written and video instruction, and will soon be available for purchase. All kits recommended for K-7.
