Friends of the Library Book Sale

A few special weeks out of every year the Friends of the Library hosts Book Sales in the Bronte Room, with proceeds going toward programs at the library. You will find a great selection of gently used books of all genres, as well as audiobooks, CDs and DVDs for all ages. Almost all of the materials in the sale are available for one dollar or less!
The Friends of the Library accepts donated materials throughout the year of gently used printed books, audiobooks on CD and PlayAways, DVDs, and music CDs. Donations may be brought to the Victoria Public Library during regular library hours.
The Sunday prior to each sale features a special members only preview event from 2 to 4 p.m. On the Saturday of each sale between 10 and noon, patrons can stuff their Friends of the VPL Book Bag for only one dollar with no limit on refills. The sale opens to all members of the community on Monday morning. 2022 sale dates are: January 23-29, May 15-21, and September 18-24.
